FIFA has officially released the long-awaited match schedule for the 2026™ FIFA World Cup, revealing that Miami will host seven matches – from June 15 to July 18, 2026 – including a quarter-final and the third-place match. This announcement marks a historic moment for the community, placing Greater Miami and Miami Beach as well as the state of Florida at the heart of the global soccer stage.
The 2026™ FIFA World Cup marks the long-awaited return of the tournament to the United States for the first time since 1994. The tournament will be the largest World Cup ever staged in North America, with a record 48 teams and 104 matches across Canada, Mexico and the United States. Seven of these matches will take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, which has already hosted some of the most high-profile soccer matches in recent history.
