Icelandair has announced the opening of a new seasonal destination in the United States this year: Pittsburgh!
Flights will operate from May 16th to October 27th, with 4 flights/week. With the addition of Pittsburgh, the Icelandair network now includes 14 destinations in the US: Boston, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, New York (JFK and EWR), Seattle, Washington DC, Orlando, Portland, Baltimore, Raleigh-Durham and Detroit.
Connections in Keflavik (Iceland) are simple and quick (1 hour on average). Passengers benefit from access to the in-flight entertainment system on individual screen, baggage-free fares available, and the choice between two cabins on board (Economy and Saga Class) with different fare levels for greater flexibility.
Icelandair also offers its transatlantic passengers the possibility of making a stopover of several days in Iceland without additional airfare. The opportunity to combine two destinations in one trip!
