This year again, Visit USA France participated in IPW held this year in San Antonio from May 20 to 24th, 2023. The French delegation was made up of over 50 people: French Reps, buyers, MICE, airlines and journalists/editors.
Once they arrived, the French were happy to discover the different aspects of the Texas’ second largest city. A beautiful and dynamic city that combines culture, history, nature, nightlife, with a downtown riverfront that is as vibrant during the day as it is in the evening!
Prior to the official opening of the show, Visit USA France hosted its traditional cocktail party for members and the French delegation, bringing together over 200 people at the « Be Kind and Rewind » bar, a fun place dedicated to the 1980-90’s and 2000s.
The year 2023 clearly marks the return of travel to the USA, with 5,000 buyers from over 60 countries, with meetings for over 1,000 exhibitors during 50 15-minute slots.
To crown this magnificent event, a member of the French delegation, Anthony Enault, North America Specialist at the French tour operator « Cercle des Voyages », was honored at the U.S. Travel’s Chairman’s Circle Honors, an annual ceremony which rewards tour operators and international buyers promoting and selling the USA as a destination. Congratulations Anthony!
